I am Smit, currently working as an AI assistant with the National Research Council Canada (NRC). I am pursuing my Master's in Artificial Intelligence at the University of Ottawa, Canada. I have completed my Bachelor's in Information Technology at Government Engineering College, Gandhinagar, affiliated with Gujarat Technological University. Apart from graduating with the highest average GPA (9.55/10), I've worked on three international research papers and six lauded projects. I've gained a total of 2+ years of corporate experience in the domains of computer science such as Machine learning, Data Science, and Analytics, through my industrial internships. I am deeply interested in industry 4.0 technologies, such as AI, IoT, Blockchain, and DS. I like to read about FinTech law and financial markets.

● Collaborated with cross-functional, cross-territory teams from the National Research Council Canada, Hannover Centre of Germany, the University of Ottawa, and Max-Planck Club on a project to develop an alternative to fiber optics for transmitting high-speed data to Canadian northern territories (Yukon, Northwest, Nunavut) economically.
● Simulated the metamaterial device with existing software, scanned over many design parameters for data collection; pre-processed, stored, and organized the collected data.
● Trained deep neural networks on the data to create surrogate models that replaced the simulation software.
● Developed an AI-based optimization algorithm to solve the inverse problem, which is to specify the metamaterial-based device that gives the desired optical response.
● Shared insights effectively with interactive visualizations, using Power BI dashboards to help the team identify trends, gain insights from experiments, and make informed decisions.

• Designed viable solutions by utilizing Blockchain, AI, and its subdomains such as distributed systems, cloud computing, big data, image processing, and cost-optimized development to put forward our solutions and drafted 3 research papers for international journals.
• Proposed a hybrid model of LSTM and GRU to forecast the accurate prices of Litecoin and Zcash in four different window sizes by mapping the interdependency between coins and their parent currencies, such as Bitcoin, in order to contemplate market sentiments.

Proposed a Deep Learning-based modified neural network to detect any potential bugs, faults, or malfunctioning in the software of an autonomous vehicle. The proposed model outperformed state-of-the-art techniques, such as classical ML models and the Auto-ML model.
DEEP LEARNING-BASED CRYPTOCURRENCY PRICE PREDICTION SCHEME WITH INTER-DEPENDENT RELATIONS

The interdependent relations between coins and their parent coins were also explored and Bitcoin’s direction, which was used to know about market sentiments, was also added to the proposed model.

EXPLORATORY DATA ANALYSIS ON WHO LIFE EXPECTANCY DATA
Detailed analysis of the data of developing and developed nations’ citizens collected by WHO is carried out to find meaningful insights from the given data. Various parameters including life expectancy, infant deaths, various diseases such as Polio and HIV, and basic habits of the citizens are taken into consideration. This project aims to find out specific problems in each region so that they can be solved to increase life expectancy, standards of living, and happiness index of the citizens. Linear Regression, Mixed Effect Model, and Deep Neural Network is used for forecasting the value of life expectancy.
COLLEGE CAMPUS RECRUITER
A detailed analysis of graduate students who participated in on-campus interviews. Various parameters of the employers and qualities and expertise of the students are considered to make predictions about the package. This project can give accurate insights into what employers are looking for and what students should target to land a job at their dream organization. It can also be used for predicting the selection chances of upcoming cohorts.
ONLINE PLATFORM FOR PASSENGER PASSES OF STATE ROAD TRANSPORTS
It is very inconvenient to generate a new bus pass offline in India because of inefficient operations and long queues.
This site manages all the operations related to students’ passes, such as generating a new pass, updating the existing pass, authentication, and payment, with an easy UI design, and it is functional 24/7.
THE DETECTION OF A MALIGNANT TUMOR IN THE BREAST
1 out of every 8 women has a chance to get breast cancer in her life and that makes breast cancer the most common cancer in the world, so It becomes essential to detect it in the prior stages.
32 features related to dimensionality and texture are taken into consideration for the prediction of the disease, and out of all models that are used, ANN achieved the highest prediction accuracy with 97.9%.
CARDIOVASCULAR DISEASE FORECASTING SCHEME
On average, around 17.9 million people die from Cardiovascular Diseases (CVD) every year. Over a quarter of these deaths take place in India, making it the CVD capital.
To detect this, In this project, 14 features, such as cholesterol, blood pressure, and blood sugar, were analyzed to predict whether the patient has CVD or not using 5 ML models.
The prediction accuracy achieved was 98.83%. Hyperparameters were optimized, and the results of the ML models were compared using different graphs
